The records of the Catlin Mennonite Church of Peabody, KS were placed on file with the Mennonite Church, USA in Goshen, IA at various times between 1951 and 1997.

In the summer of 2006, the records were transferred to the Mennonite Library and Archives at Bethel College in Newton, KS so that they would be closer to the home of the former church. The transfer was done by Don and Elnor Stutzman, former members of the church.

The Records Inventory listed below outlines the entire collection of church records. The Hornberger Deed is original for the cemetery and church grounds. The Brewer letter, the Horst letter and the farm map by Floyd Good appear to be related to the research done in the 1940s by Gideon Yoder for his 1948 Masters Thesis on "The Oldest Living American Mennonite Congregations of Central Kansas." The cemetery map is the one used by Allen White through 1973.
