During World War II this was a German POW camp of about 5000. It
was located a few miles northeast of Concordia, KS. On April 5, 2002, there are still a few of the original structures
remaining at the site. Information, a display about the camp and a very
helpful staff are available at the Cloud County Historical Museum in Concordia.
