Family Connection When Peter came to Philadelphia in 1727, he became our first Good ancestor to arrive in America. He and our ancestors who descended from him all were farmers who moved west with the expansion of the United States through Virginia, Ohio, Iowa, Missouri, and finally in 1885 to a farm near Peabody, KS. The signature page of the proof of the will and a new translation done in 2007 also are available there. Daughter is Nancy, not Mary The 2007 translation reveals that the original 1754 ca. translation misidentified Peter's first child by his second wife. Her name is Nancy, not Mary. Peter Good (GB2) Confusion Peter Good (GB2) and Peter Good (GC) often are confused. Peter GB2 was married to Margaret Geetha. Peter GC had four wives. His first two are unknown. His third and fourth were Hanna Groff and Fronica Histand. This is compounded by more confusion between their descendants Jacob Good (GB21) and Jacob Good (GC22).
