Most of what we know of Peter and his family begins with their
emigration journey in 1727 from Manheim on the
Rhine to Penn's Landing at Philadelphia. This
leaves quite a few open questions about
Peter, which are cited below as "q1," "q2," etc.
1690-91 ca.: Born, perhaps in the Sinsheim area of the
Rhine River valley. (q1, q2)
Peter's four wives and eight children appear below in the same order
as in his will. (5) The will names the children from
each wife, but it names only his fourth wife, Frany Hiestand.
Peter Good (GC) marries Wife #1. (5)

Peter Good (GC) marries Wife #2. (5)
______: GC4 Nanse/Nancy
______: GC5 Bebi/Barbara
1723 Oct 6: Benjamin Franklin
arrives at age 17 to begin his life in
Philadelphia, PA.
1727: The Peter Good (GC) family prepares to
emigrate to Pennsylvania. If the family traveled from near
Sinsheim (q2), the first part of the journey would
have been about 50 kilometers (30 miles) northwest by land to
Manheim.
