Hylas (spelled "Silas") still in East River Twp. of Page Co. as family #167, and
Lewis is living with his son John F. Markwell as the next family,

1904 Mar 5: Lydia dies
at the home of her son Abe Stemen south of
Shambaugh, IA.
Buried in
Butler Cemetery beside third husband
David Good.
Lydia's estate is settled under the name of Lydia Good,
and the estate papers mention an expense of $4.30 for "Costs in Markwell divorce." (7)
That was the first clue to the Markwell marriage.
