Henry Z. Jones, Jr.

Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists.

Hank Jones

He gave four good, useful presentations at the Annual Seminar of the Austin Genealogical Society on 2001 August 18. He specializes in families immigrating from the Palatine area of Germany into New York in the early 1700's.

One of his main themes throughout was "They immigrated together, and they stayed together." I've seen that pattern many times after I knew to look for it.

I asked him about immigration from Palatine into Pennsylvania around the 1730's. He was aware of it and the Gut surname, but he had no specific information.
