He gave four good, useful presentations at the Annual Seminar of the Austin Genealogical Society on 2001 August 18. He specializes in families immigrating from the Palatine area of Germany into New York in the early 1700's. I asked him about immigration from Palatine into PA around the 1730's. He was aware of it and the Gut surname, but he had no specific information. -- dg 2001 Aug 19.
