HAMILTON NATIONAL GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, INC. Now Celebrating Our Twenty-Ninth Year and 9 Years Online! We
are a non-profit organization devoted to assembling and preserving
genealogical and historical materials pertaining to the Hamilton
surname (ALL spellings: Hamelton, Hamleton, Hambleton, Hambelton, Hameldon, Hamildon, Homildon, Hameldune, Hamylton)
and Allied families. Membership is open to all persons interested in
genealogical research and preservation of records. We have hundreds of
pages of free information, and thousands available to our members. Our Member's Only Section has a COMPLETE listing of our Hamilton Census Readings, starting with 1790 through many in 1910. We now have an HNGS DNA Project. Here are the current results. Have
you made arrangements for the preservation of your research records and
papers? If no one in your family is interested, arrange for a local
genealogical society, a research library to receive your papers. Do not
waste your valuable years of research by having your family toss your
papers in the trash. Tell your family of your wishes, even put it in
writing. Secondly, let the beneficiary organization know of your plans.
Placing your papers in a library or society will make them available
for years to come. |
