Noah was born Aug 11, 1820,
Fairfield Co., OH
and was found living in Marion Township,
Hocking Co., OH
in the 1850 census.
In Feb 1866, Noah
and his family entered into an agreement with Henry Shenk of
Allen Co., OH.
to improve his 80 acres in
Page Co., IA.
Shenk paid Good $420 and
promised him free rent for six years in return for which Good was to
"brake and fence the above described land and build a house on it 18
by 24 feet with a small kitchen to it and to dig a well and wall on it
and to set out an orchard of a hundred fruit trees and to take good
care of it and to plant a grove around it."
The Noah Good family moved to
Jasper Co., MO,
where he died Oct 26, 1905 and is buried in the
Weaver Cemetery, MO,
Oronogo MO. The family also lived in Hesston, KS.
On Dec 16, 1841 he married
Franses Culp,
who was born Mar 20, 1817,
Augusta Co., VA.
She was a sister of
Rev. Christian Culp
who was married to Noah's sister,
Elizabeth Good.
Frances' family moved to OH
about 1832. She died Feb 9, 1901 and is also buried in the
Weaver Cemetery, MO.
