Sophia
was born March 23, 1817, OH; united with Mennonite church in
Fairfield Co OH soon after marriage; died Feb 27, 1885.On June 29,
1837, she married John M Brenneman, born May 28, 1816; Bremen OH (son
of Henry and Barbara (Beery) Brenneman). In 1844 he was chosen
to ministry; 1849 office of Bishop; 1848 moved to Franklin Co; 1855 to
near Elida, Allen Co OH. He was one among the most prominent
ministers and speakers of the day and wrote many edifying articles in
the Herald of Truth, as well as books of a religious nature;
died October 3, 1895, Elida OH.
