I first heard about Larry from Bernice Harrelson in April 2000, but I didn't have any contact with him until I wrote him on 7/14/00. Larry is listed on page 47 of the Beery book and is a descendant of our David Good and David's second wife, Lydia. It was Larry's great uncle Earl Good who was the "driving force" that kept the Good Family Reunion going in Meadville MO. It was this family reunion that my parents and some of my aunts and uncles attended in the late 1960s. This Good Family Reunion group put together a cookbook, which I have, entitled "The Really Good Cookbook." My mother and several of my aunts have recipes in this cookbook. We have shared information. Larry sent me two pictures. One picture is Simon & Lula Good's wedding picture dated 8/8/1883. The other picture is a family picture taken at Simon & Lula's 45 wedding anniversary on 8/8/1928.

"I remember your folks. I used to spend a few weeks every summer with my grandma Katie (Catherine Winey Good) and so would see them at the Catlin Church on Sundays. Also when my folks would visit they'd always make a point of going to Uncle Isaac's house to see everyone and your folks were usually there as I remember. Maybe you and your siblings were younger than me (soon to be 68) but I don't remember ever seeing or playing with any children. I remember a family joke was that my father would tease my mother saying that he could have married Myrtle as she used to be his girl friend, just to get my mom's goat. Anyway, he was part of the group that included your folks, etc."
