ELIZABETH AGIN

Elizabeth Agin has 8 years experience in geophysics, remote sensing, and geographic information systems (GIS).  Her education and professional background emphasizes geophysical investigations for the location and delineation of subsurface archaeological sites, particularly unmarked gravesites.  Many of her geophysical investigations locating unmarked graves are known internationally through conferences, several authored papers, and investigations featured in numerous publications.  She has conducted geophysical investigations for corporations, municipalities, and federal governments throughout the  country with large format aerial photography, ground penetrating radar (GPR), electrical resistivity, magnetic, time-and frequency-domain electromagnetic (EM) induction, borehole geophysical logging techniques, as well as land surveying instruments including total stations and global position systems (GPS).  In addition to data collection, Ms. Agin is experienced with various data processing systems including RADAN, GPR Slice, OASIS Montaj, Surfer, and RES2DINV® and GIS platforms such as ArcGIS.  Most recently, Ms. Agin has gained valuable experience in her technical involvement with the Military Munitions Response Program.

Ms. Agin received her B.A. in Archaeology from the University of Kansas and her M.S. from Emporia State University with an emphasis in Geophysics. She is current with OSHA Health and Safety HAZWOPER Training (29 CFR 1910.120).
