2. Deed Record 157, Book 157, p50. Office of the Register of Deeds, Marion Co, KS. An 1885 atlas shows this same 160 acres belonging to D. Meyer. A 1921 atlas of Marion county shows this 160 acres belonging to Emma Jane Lauck. Edwin and Emma's granddaughter Jane Good believed that Emma inherited this farm from someone. Buying it for $5 is about the same thing.
