following information regarding Elizabeth Good was sketchy at best, and I was
unable to find primary or additional secondary information to substantiate
the information I did find. I am
placing the information I did find here so that other researchers will see
what seems to be applicable to this Elizabeth Good. I would appreciate receiving corrections and sourced material
regarding Elizabeth. 1.9 ELIZABETH GOOD was born Mar 29, 1829 in Tennessee, and died Apr 21, 1905 in Whitestown, Boone Co., IN. She married (1) HENRY FARMER Dec 13, 1853 in Marion Co., Indiana. He was born about 1829 in Virginia. She married (2) SAMUEL FARMER May 27, 1897 in Clinton Co., Indiana, son of WILLIAM FARMER and Kate WARNER He was born about 1837. Notes for Elizabeth Good: 1. I was unable to find Elizabeth in the 1850 and 1860
censuses. 2. On http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/surnames.good/737.3/mb.ashx,
fridee@localnet.com list Elizabeth
as marrying Henry E. Farmer. I was
unable to find a record of this marriage; however, in the 1870 census there
is an Elizabeth, born in Tennessee about 1827, married to a Henry Farmer. Three children are listed in the
household, which corresponds to children credited to this marriage on various
family trees found on Ancestry.com, and the listed marriage date. 3. 1870 Census: Center, Boone, Indiana; Roll: M593_300;

Charles and Edward. 4. 1880 Census: Jackson, Clinton, Indiana; Roll: T9_270;
Page: 161.1; ED: 12. In this census
Elizabeth Farmer is listed as a widowed servant in the household of John
Fernald. Her POB is listed as
Tennessee, father's as Virginia, and her mother's as PA. 5. Some sources list a second marriage for Elizabeth to a
Samuel Farmer. The following three
sources seem to verify such a marriage; however, in searching for a Samuel
Farmer who's parents were William and Kate produced a Samuel Farmer that died
after 1900. In the 1900 census
Elizabeth is still listed as a widow.
I found no relationship between Henry Farmer and Samuel Farmer. 6. Indiana Marriage Collection, 1800-1941 Name: Samuel Farmer; Spouse Name: Elizabeth Farmer Marriage Date: 27 May 1897; Marriage County:

IIA RESEARCH:
LETTER FROM ANDRÉ GUT TO JANE EVANS BEST In the last issue of the newsletter André Gut from Zürich, Switzerland, andre.gut@access.unizh.ch, joined our research group. After reading through some of our back issues, along with supporting documents, he wrote asking if there was a way he could send an email to Jane Evans Best, the author of several articles and books regarding our Swiss/German ancestors. Since Ms. Best is a member of our research group, I passed along his email to her. Because André’s letter is of interest to many of our members, I have posted it here in our research section. First, the email I received from André indicates that he revised some of his material on Geneanet, and I felt it important to notify our readers in the event that some of you may have visited his web site and copied some of his material: “Dear Herb, "I have made some changes on Geneanet, and I indicated the sources. Especially, I changed the ancestors of Ulrich Gut-Kleiner, born in 1583, who is in my direct Gut line (father to son). "May I ask you to please send the attached file to Ms. Best. I have made a list of different Ulrich Gut families that I would like to show her. "I have checked the work of Ms. Best, Mr. Beahm and Mr. Billeter, and it seems that some of my ancestral lines are really proved: The lines that lead to Paulus Gut-Meyer and Junghans Gut-Frey, sons of Hans Gut, (abt. 1500-1544), judge of the court of Maschwanden. But the direct line, father to son, unfortunately is only a supposition at the moment. Is it possible that the many Gut lines in my descent may falsify the result of a DNA-test? "Regards, André” ____________ “Dear Ms. Best, "My name is André Gut and I am from Zürich, Switzerland. "I am very interested in the genealogy of my family, and I have done a lot of research on many families from the Knonauer Amt in Kanton Zürich in the last view years. "I saw some very interesting Gut genealogies from you in the Gut-newsletter. There are lots of data like mine and lots like in the work of Mr. Billeter. But there are also differences. "You made many good suppositions. In the time around 1520-1580 it is almost impossible to make the Gut genealogy without suppositions. And so I am glad having found your work, the one of Mr. Beahm and the one of Mr. Billeter, and to be able to compare them to my own research. "My proved family line goes to Ulrich Gut from Lunnern, (born in 1583?), [married] in 1615 Verena Kleiner from Maschwanden. His son Andreas Gut moved to the near village Maschwanden and became the ancestor of the Gut family from there of which I am a family member. "Unfortunately it is very difficult to find the ancestors of this Ulrich Gut who died in 1623 in Ottenbach. Like you, I guess that this is the same Ulrich Gut that married first in 1608 Verena Wydler who died in 1614. "He is probably the son of Ulrich Gut-Keiser, Anabaptist, as mentioned in your work. "In my opinion he could also be a son of Hans Gut-Buchmann (son of Andreas Gut-Bär, Anabaptist). This Hans had a son Ulrich, born in 1587. But Hans Gut lived in Oberlunnern and Ulrich Gut-Wydler-Kleiner lived in Unterlunnern. "Regarding the many Ulrich Guts living around 1580, I tried to make a list of four Ulrich Gut families. It is only a supposition! I like to add this list for you below. "One thing that is for sure is that Ulrich Gut, born in 1581, son of Ulrich Gut-Keiser, Anabaptist, and brother of Ulrich Gut-Wydler-Kleiner, born in 1583?, can not be the Ulrich Gut who married Catharina Häberling like mentioned in your work. They married in 1594! It seems like this Ulrich Gut, born in 1581, died shortly after his birth. "There is another point that cannot be correct in your work, and the work of Mr. Beahm: "Elogius (Loy/Ludwig) Gut who married Elisabeth Kleiner from Mettmenstetten, standard-bearer, is not the son of Peter Gut and Verena Häberling, born in 1573. The man born on the 8th of December 1573 was a Jodoc (Jodocy) Gut. Elogius Gut must have been the son of Thomas Gut and Margaretha Stehli, born in 1592, like in the work of Mr. Billeter. I have checked the names in the books of the parish Ottenbach. "I hope this information can be of help for you. Thank you very much for your interesting research. If you have any questions, please contact me. "You can find my Gut genealogy on www.geneanet.org. On the welcoming site you have to enter a name: Gut, and a place: Maschwanden, and then go to the file: andregut. Reading this reminded me of a couple of corrections that had previously been published in this same magazine, and I asked Don and Romaine if permission could be obtained to place these corrections in our newsletter. Donald contacted Carolyn Wenger, editor of the PMH, receiving permission along with her note, “I'm glad the info can be disseminated further.” Donald I. Millstream Road, Lancaster, PA 17602-1499. GOOD: Courthouse records in Rockingham Co., Va. and Dauphin Co., Pa. have revealed new information about Jacob Good (GC22) and two of his sons with his first wife Elizabeth Stoner. (Jane Evans Best and Howard C. Francis, “Six Good Families of Early Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,” Pennsylvania Mennonite Heritage, July 1989, pp. 20-21) Jacob (GC22) did not die in 1803, but probably early in 1805. His son Jacob (GC225) did not die young, but lived to have two wives and five children. Jacob (GC22) also had a son Samuel who does not appear in the 1989 article. The courthouse records and further details are available through the web pages for Jacob and his two sons at: www.dgatx.com/family/people/Jacob-Good-1740/hs.html. Thanks to Pete Burkholder and Nancy Wagner for locating the records in Virginia. GC22 Jacob Good, b. ca. 1740, Lancaster Co. Pa.; d. ca. 1805, Rockingham Co., Va. Jacob bought 120 acres in Rockingham Co. in March 1804. He died without a will, and his estate was appraised on March 27, 1805. Appraisals normally were the first step in settling an estate and done soon after death occurred, so he probably died early in 1805. The estate records identify Jacob (GC225) and Samuel as his children. Because Jacob (GC225) already had died, his children are identified as heirs to the estate, and Martin and Jacob are identified as living in Dauphin Co. Pa. GC225 Jacob Good, b. ca. 1760, Brecknock Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa., wp. August 22, 1803, Swatara Twp., Dauphin Co., Pa.; 5 ch. m. (1) Anne Houser, b. ca 1765, d. bef. March 24, 1801; (2) Nancy Whittmer/Whitmore Several sources say Jacob “died young.” He appears on the Dauphin Co. tax rolls as early as 1786. He was married to Anne Houser, daughter of Martin Houser, of Dauphin Co. Anne died before March 24, 1801. Jacob was married a second time to Nancy Whittmer/Whitmore, who was the wife named in his will which was written July 25, 1803 and proved in Dauphin Co. on August 22, 1803. All of Jacob’s children were minors at the time of his death. They were: Elizabeth (later married to John Krug/Krugh), Martin, Jacob, Barbara (later married to John Stoner), and Samuel. Because Jacob died before his father, his share of the inheritance from his father was divided among his five children. A Rockingham Co. deed shows that his sons Martin and Jacob, who were grandsons of Jacob (GC22), sold their “two-fifths of one-thirteenth part” of the inherited property to Jeremiah Kyle of Rockingham Co., Va., in 1811. GC22+ Samuel Good, b. 1762, Brecknock Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa.; d. Apr. 19, 1824, Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., Pa.; bu. East Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Pa.; 1 ch. m. Elizabeth Houser, b. 1772, d. 1844 Samuel first appears on the Dauphin Co. tax rolls in 1786 as a “bachelor.” He married Elizabeth Houser (1772-1844), who was a daughter of Martin Houser. On August 31, 1812, Samuel and Elizabeth sold his inherited “one-thirteenth share” of his father’s property to Jeremiah Kyle. Samuel and Elizabeth had one daughter, Anne, who married Andrew Miller. ______________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________ III DNA TESTING
Editor: Robert A. Good We have recently updated our DNA results chart at http://www.gutthguttgood.com/DNA/guthguttgood_DNA_Results.html with updated results from Robert Lee Good and with a name correction for Charles Good. In addition, we wish to modify our recommendations about which lab to use for testing. Robert Lee Good has recently upgraded his results from 37 to 67 markers. The additional markers do not reveal any unusual or unexpected values. They are essentially the same as those of most of the haplotypes in our study. We made an error in participant Charles Good’s name. The corrected version is Charles J. Good. We have also received a few inquiries about using the DNA testing services offered by Ancestry.com. We have been recommending Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) in part because that is the lab every other participant has used so far and the results are consistent and easy to compare with each other. FTDNA and the lab used by Ancestry.com test different sets of markers, making comparison a bit more complicated (but certainly possible). Our newsletter editor, Herb Good, has done a careful study of the markers tested and the fees charged by FTDNA and Ancestry.com. Here are Herb’s findings:
Ancestry.com is obviously a great deal cheaper and may be a better value. Its 33-marker panel includes all of the markers in FTDNA’s 12-marker test plus many more, at about half the price. So, our recommendation as to which lab to use is this: If you simply want to see whether you belong to our Swiss Good lineage (the only one we have clearly identified so far) you can order the basic test from either lab. If you want a richer result, order as many markers as you can. You can use whatever lab you wish. We will sort out the results for comparison. Of course, all of our experience to date is with FTDNA. As we work more with results from Ancestry.com, we will surely modify our recommendations from time to time. There are many additional labs that test for genealogy purposes, but FTDNA and the lab used by Ancestry.com (which I believe is Sorenson) are the most popular at this moment. Please contact me if you are unsure what to do, at GoodDNA@RobertAGood.com. Robert A. She was born about 1757, of Hampshire Co., Virginia. He married (2) ANN WILLIAMS Apr 2, 1806, of Muskingum Co., Ohio. She was born about 1786. 1.1.1 DANIEL GOOD was born about 1782 in Hampshire Co., Virginia, and died Bet. 1830 - 1835. He married MARTHA WILLIAMS Jul 26, 1804 in Jefferson Co., Ohio. GOOD, was born Jul 15, 1856. Kathleen Brown of Bountiful, Utah, a great granddaughter of Sarah Sabina Good, BrownKM@familysearch.org, writes that I have the wrong Daniel Good listed as the father of Sarah Sabina Good, and that the correct listing should be as follows: DESCENDANTS OF JACOB GUTH/GOOD 1. JACOB GUTH/GOOD was born about 1712 in of Germany, and died about 1777 [died 1761?]. He married SUSANNAH SCHERER, daughter of HANS SCHERER and VERONICA. She was born about 1712. 2. He married (1) NANCY SPEER about 1851. She was born about 1824 in Ohio. He married (2) CATHERINE SPEER May 31, 1855 in Shelby, Ohio. She was born Apr 9, 1829 in Ohio. [Father b. PA, mother b. Ohio], and died Apr 14, 1882 in Darke Co., Ohio.
Child of DANIEL GOOD and CATHERINE SPEER: 5. SARAH SABINA GOOD was born Jul 16, 1856 in Sidney, Fairfield Co., Ohio, and died Apr 11, 1943 in Celina, Mercer, Ohio. She married JOHN REESE Jan 23, 1873 in Ohioarah sab, son of FREDERICK REESE and MIRIAM WINTERS. He was born Jun 23, 1850 in Pyrmont, Montgomery Co., Ohio, and died Mar 23, 1930 in Mercer, Ohio. Kathleen Brown visited Sarah and John’s gravesite this last summer. They are buried in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina, Mercer Co., Ohio. They also visited Daniel and Catherine Good’s gravesite in the new Teegarden Cemetery in Darke Co., Ohio. The above listed lineage is in keeping with Jane Evans Best and Howard C. Francis, "Six Good Families of Early Lancaster County, Pennsylvania," Pennsylvania Mennonite Heritage, Volume XII, Number 3, July 1989. I appreciate Kathy pointing out my error. A review of the database found the seeds for the error were generated with GGG No. 021, Ancestral Sketches; Lester LeMay. In his sketch of Daniel Good and Martha Williams, in the third generation he listed (A) Daniel Good (II-B-1) married to Catherine (Nee?) as having one child; Sara Sabina Good, born July 15, 1856. While conducting research at a latter time I ran across Sarah Sabina Good, looked her up in our database, and made the connection. The birth dates for Sarah were almost the same (1 day difference), and the mothers were both named Catherine; however, Daniel’s birth year was not the same, 1820 vs. 1835. That should have alerted me that perhaps there was an error in assuming that these were the same person, but unfortunately, it didn’t. ________________ EMANUEL GOOD (1789-1851) Diane Gibson of Cherryvale, Kansas, chase-road@wavewls.com, joined our research group with GGG No. 061 where she shared with us her Ancestral Sketch of Emanuel Good (1789-1851). At that time she wrote that she had no reliable proof about the parents of Emanuel, but others had suggested to her that they could be Jacob Good III and Mata Driscoll. I received the following email from Diane: “While doing a
search at FamilySearch, I typed in Emanuel Good, and found his father listed
as William Thompson Good. I also found a rootsweb tree with children John and
Anna listed as children of William. They were in the right time frame. Just
wondered if you had ever seen anything on William Thompson Good. Emanuel was
born in 1789 time frame in Pa., and married in Tennessee to Nancy
Rimel/Rymel. Going to have to do some research on this.” ___________ My short answer is that I have not run across this William Thompson Good. If any of our fellow researchers have, Diane and I would love to hear from you. With respect to Jacob Good II and Emanuel Good, the following is a brief summary of the material we have on them in our database. This Jacob Good III was born ca1760, and married Mathilda “Mata” Driscoll. Mathilda is also listed as being born ca1760. In our Guth Gutt Good database we list Jacob and Mathilda as also having a daughter, Anna Good. Anna Good is listed as having married John McNeal on Mar 2, 1802 in Shenandoah, Virginia. A John McNeal was listed as bondsman when Emanuel married Nancy Rymill (Rimel) in Washington Co., Tennessee. No “Proof” has been offered for this connection, although it appears to be a recurring theme in various family trees. Besides Diane, other members of our research group are also chasing this family. They are: GGG No. 002; New Members: Raymond Stroudt GGG No. 012; Ancestral Sketches: Larry V. Good GGG No. 014; New Members: Robin Minadeo GGG No. 057, New Members: James Good I have not researched this family, but based on information provided by our members, and various on line family trees, the following information is in our database with regard to Emanuel: EMANUEL GOOD was born about 1789 in Tennessee, and died Sep 2, 1852 in Moniteau Co., Missouri. Census data lists Emanuel’s POB as TN; however, some sources list Emanuel’s place of birth as PA or VA. If Mary was his sister, and she was married in Virginia, then the possibility does exist that Emanuel was born in Virginia, or at least lived in Virginia; however, he did serve in the Tennessee Militia during the war of 1812. Also, in a biography for his son Isaac, it states, “his father, Emanuel Good, was originally from Pennsylvania,” and “of German descent.” He married (1) NANCY EMALINE RIMEL on Jan 5, 1811 in Washington Co., Tennessee. She was the daughter of JOHN RIMEL and REBECCA LINCOLN. Nancy was born about 1787 in Rockingham Co., Virginia. Five children are listed for this marriage: i. DELILAH GOOD born about 1812. ii. ELIZABETH GOOD born about 1814. iii. JOHN GOOD born about 1816. iv. JACOB GOOD born about 1818, v. CATHERINE GOOD born about 1821. He married (2) MARY MAGDALENA POLLY SLINGER on Oct 12, 1817. She was born about 1790 in Washington, TN, and died about 1825 in Washington, TN. If the children Jacob and Catherine were born ca1818 and ca1821, then this places doubt on the Slinger marriage, or that Nancy was the mother of Jacob and Catherine. We don’t know what happened to Nancy. Diane Gibson writes: “It has been suggested that Nancy Rimel died during childbirth in 1817. Either Jacob was this child, or he and Catherine belong to Mary Sliger.” Only one child is listed from the marriage of Emanuel and Mary Slinger: vi. Mary Ann (Maryan) Magdaline Good. [She is the earliest known GOOD ancestor of Raymond Stoudt; GGG No. 002.] MARY ANN MAGDALINE GOOD was born Jan 28, 1824 in Tennessee, and died Mar 21, 1894 in Cooke Co., Texas. She married SAMPSON MARION GANN on Dec 10, 1843 in Washington County, TN. He was the son of IGNATIOUS GANN and SARAH DELANEY. Sampson was born Aug 11, 1825 in Jonesborough, Washington Co., TN, and died Nov 25, 1909 in Dexter, Cook Co., Texas. He married (3) ELIZABETH COPP on Oct 26, 1826 in Washington Co., Tennessee. She was the daughter of GEORGE COPP and CATHERINE LINK. She was born [about 1808 in TN?], and died [about 1830, in Washington Co., TN?] A Benjamin Copp was listed as the bondsman for this marriage. One child may be from this marriage: vii. LEVINA GOOD born about 1826. In Isaac Good’s biography a fourth wife is listed: (4) ELIZABETH PETMAN was born in Tennessee, and died 12 Oct 1868. Emanuel is living with an Elizabeth Good, age 45, in the 1850 census, along with Isaac, Louisa and Adeline. In the 1830 census no females are listed as living in the household Elizabeth’s age. There is an older woman living in the household. This family is listed as having five children, but Alitha Louisa was not listed. Assuming that Martha and Levina were not the same person, the children may have been: ix. SARAH GOOD was born about 1828, Tennessee. x. ALITHA LOUISA GOOD was born about 1831, Missouri. xi. ISAAC GOOD was born Feb 15, 1835 in Washington, TN In Isaac’s biography it states that his parents “were in the ‘Rhomboidal State’ [Tennessee] and made their home there until their immigration to this county [Cooper] in 1843.” If that is the case, Louisa and Adeline were born in Tennessee, not Missouri. Martha could have died in either Missouri or Tennessee. BIOGRAPHICAL 1883

GOOD, homestead, section
34. Rev. Mr. Good has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church for the
last twenty years, and in January, 1873, entered the ministry of that
denomination, since which he has been actively and earnestly engaged in the
work of his sacred calling, mainly in Cooper county. He joined the church at
Pleasant Green in 1863, and began to preach ten years later at Oak Grove. "He is a
native of Tennessee, and was born in Washington County of that state February
15, 1835. His father, Emanuel Good, was originally from Pennsylvania, but his
mother, formerly Miss Elizabeth Petman, was born and reared in Tennessee.
Both were of German descent. They were in the "Rhomboidal
State," and made their home there until their immigration to this county
in 1843. They first located about five miles below Rocheport, but the
following year removed to the neighborhood of Connor's mill, and five years;
afterwards settled in Moniteau County, where the father was taken off by
death the 2d of September 1852. The mother survived her husband about sixteen
years, but on the 12th of October 1868, joined her husband in the last long
sleep of death. They reared a family of five children. Sarah became the wife of Jesse Driskill,
but after his death in California, wife of Thomas Pate, of Moniteau County;
Martha died in March 1843, aged sixteen years. Isaac, the subject of this
sketch, and Adella, wife of James Maze, of Moniteau County. In youth Isaac
attended such schools as were convenient, and also devoted much of his
leisure to private study, thus acquiring as he grew up the more important
essentials of an English education. "On the
21st of June 1854, he was married to Miss Elizabeth, daughter of John and Louisa
Hampton, of this county. Ten children have been born to them, but they have
been more than ordinarily unfortunate in their family, having lost five of
their children. Four died in infancy, and the fifth, a promising young man,
died just after he had attained his majority, on the 18th of March 1879. The
five still spared then to bless and brighten their home are: Virginia L.,
Hugh L., Hester E., William J. and Missouri A. Hester is the wife of John C.
Potter, of Moniteau county. During the war Mr. Good served about ten months
under General Price, but at the expiration of that time was honorably
discharged on account of physical disability, having been confined to the
hospital by ill health during much of the time of his service. "He has a
neat farm and comfortable home, and is so situated that he is not compelled
to rely on his ministerial work entirely, to supply the physical needs of
life for himself and family. With him his services for the Master and for the
church are matters of love, regardless of the rewards of this world.” [Source: http://cooper.mogenweb.org/Biographical/1883_History_Saline_Township.pdf] __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ IVB OBITUARIES:

with GGG No. 071, and is still in progress), I ran across Terry’s father, and
I sent him an invitation to join our research group. Sadly, Terry’s father was ill, passing
away on December 30, 2008. However,
after Terry read my invitation he decided to join, and participate in our
Y-DNA study. The current feeling is
that John Good was the son of Christian Good of Green Co., Tennessee. Hopefully, the Y-DNA results will help to
confirm this, or at least verify if John Good/Guth was of Swiss/German
ancestry. “My name is Terry Good. I recently received a copy of a letter that you sent to my
father regarding your work on Guth/Gutt/Good family genealogy. Unfortunately, my father passed away since
the arrival of your letter, and naturally, genealogy was a rather low
priority during his illness; however, I am interested in your project, and
would be willing to participate in the Y-DNA testing process. "While I have a general interest in family history, I cannot claim any expertise in genealogy. Much of what I know comes from a "cousin" of my generation, Judy Lynn Harvey, who has been conducting family research since the 1950s. Our grandfathers were the brothers George Elza Good (10/21/1892) and John Mathew Good (02/18/1895) mentioned in paragraph five of your letter. At a glance, there seems to be much overlap between the information in your letter and documents that I've received from Judy over the years. 1880; however, in family records, the year is listed as 1879. “His parents were William Henry Good who was born in 1845, and died
in 1902. His second wife was
Catherine Waltz. "The ‘unknown author’ of the family tree goes one generation further listing a Leslie Good that married a woman named Olive in 1844 as the parents of William Henry Good, and Jacob Good as Leslie's father, making specific reference to the Snow Betsy and 8/27/1739. It appears to me that several generations are missing, and the only Leslie I have found so far was Harold Leslie, a son of William Henry.
"I would like to subscribe to your newsletter to assist with my
research. I have additional information on the many siblings
(and some of the subsequent generations) of William Henry Good and John
Nelson Good, and would be glad to provide it if it would be of assistance.” ___________ Background
information on Jacob Good and the snow Betsy follows the ancestral sketch of
John Brooks. ___________ JOHN BROOKS ANCESTRAL SKETCH
The following
information is a combination of the information researched by John Brooks,
and information from our Guth Gutt Good database. In the 1840 to
1860 census data for Lycoming, Pennsylvania several GOOD families are
found. There is Daniel Good and his
wife Hannah, Michael Good and his wife Sarah, George Good and his wife Mary,
and Jacob Good and his wife Henrietta/Harriet. In comparing the children listed on John Brook’s family tree
against the children listed for Jacob and Henrietta it strongly suggests that
Jacob Good and Henrietta may be the parents of John’s oldest known ancestor,
William Henry Good. (could be Emma
Amanda Good [may be
Caroline??] or Caroline)] Verifying if this relationship
is true or not will be a challenge left for the future. John descends from Henry William Good, and
is listed here with the reference number of 1. The other children listed on the Family Tree follow. Not finding a birth date for Amanda Good,
she has been listed with the reference number of 2.
