Records on file with the County Clerk of
Rockingham Co., VA
regarding the estate of
Rockingham Co., VA (1740-1805)
have revealed new information about Jacob and his family.

This is the collection of documents we have found that are related to the estate settlement of
Jacob Good (GC22).
Images of the documents and transcriptions of several of them are visible
through the links in the references under Notes (1-7).
We first read about an estate settlement for Jacob in the 1986 paper
The Good Bishop Daniel and Deacon Dan in the Shenandoah Valley
by
Carter V. Good and
Gene Ann Good Cordes. (8 p7-8)
We have yet to find the Land Book they cite, but the
documents here corroborate the essence of their story about Jacob's
estate.
