After the first class, a written report will be due at the
beginning of the Thursday class of each week. The required topics of these
reports will appear under
Weekly Topics, and Grades describes
how they will contribute to your course grade.
Weekly Reports. These are 500 word reports on assigned topics.
Topic Report. This is a longer report on an approved topic of your choice. It
will be submitted in three stages,
a proposal of 500 words,
a draft of 750 words, and
a final report of 1500 words.
The proposal describes your choice of a subject and a research plan. Your proposal must be approved prior to
submitting your draft and final reports.

Collaboration. You may collaborate on research;
however, each student must submit an original, independent
report.
Reports as Web Pages. Create each report as a web page as explained under Structure.
Document Your Sources. Document all of the sources used in your report as explained in CMS Modifications.
Submission. Do two things.
1. Before the beginning of class on the day the
report is due, send to this address an email with a
link to your report.
2. Print a paper copy of your your web page and turn it at the beginning of class.
